Physical/Occupational Therapy


	Germaine Bauer-Larson is a registered occupational therapist specializing in pediatrics. She has been practicing occupational therapy for almost 20 years and offers a clinic at FMH one day every other month. She evaluates children to determine their functional level. Germaine works with local therapists to develop treatment plans and home programs. She also constructs and fits splints and assists patients in acquiring adaptive equipment. Members of the FMH's rehabilitation team call Germaine a valuable asset, noting that families have indicated appreciation for her level of experience and commitment to their care.

	Bev Schulte is a registered physical therapist who has specialized in pediatric physical therapy for 20 years. She offers clinics at FMH one day every other month, where she provides assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with developmental and/or orthopedic problems. She works closely with the physical therapy staff at FMH in developing treatment plans and consultation such as therapy and follow-through, and assisting in assessment and acquiring mobility and positioning equipment. Schulte says she has greatly enjoyed working with the FMH's Rehabilitation Department staff, who are helpful, pleasant and accommodating. Families of pediatric patients feel she is a wealth of information and experience and conveys it in a caring and easy to understand manner.
